E-commerce Fulfilment & Marketplace Listing Assistant
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized E-commerce Fulfilment & Marketplace Listing Assistant to join our growing team. This dynamic role bridges the gap between digital marketplace management and physical logistics. You will be responsible for uploading online product listings while ensuring orders are accurately packaged and shipped to our customers daily.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Data Management:
- Upload and optimize listings on various online marketplaces and resale platforms
- Edit product descriptions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and strong visual appeal.
- Audit listing details, verifying that pricing, specifications, and photos are correct.
- Coordinate photo workflows with our photographer to ensure timely asset delivery.
- Manage bulk inventory updates using Excel/Google Sheets and CSV upload tools.
Inventory & Fulfilment Operations:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently under tight daily deadlines.
- Generate shipping labels using multi-carrier platforms and major couriers (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, DHL).
- Receive incoming shipments, safely unpackage new inventory.
- Maintain meticulous inventory records and keep the workspace organized.
- Handle high-value merchandise with the utmost care and professionalism.
Summary of Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience with Shopify’s back end, eBay, and order fulfilment.
- Technical Literacy: Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; highly capable of navigating new software and managing CSV uploads.
- Logistics Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian and international shipping carriers (Canada Post, UPS, DHL, FedEx).
- Speed & Accuracy: Proven ability to maintain a strong attention to detail in a rapid, high-volume turnover environment.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently to meet production deadlines.
Bonus Assets (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with luxury fashion, consignment boutiques, or vintage e-commerce markets.
- Experience with curated resale platforms (Poshmark, Depop, Etsy, Grailed, 1stdibs).
- Hands-on experience with cross-listing tools, third-party shipping apps, or eBay Bulk Uploader.
- Knowledge of Canadian shipping solutions like ShipStation, netParcel, or FlagShip.
